Collection and Use of Information

Core use of the Service (browsing flashcards and quizzes) does not require us to collect personal data. Some optional features do process data, as described below: creating an account (your email address), subscriptions (a purchase identifier from Google Play or the App Store, used to verify your premium status), and the AI Recruiter voice interview (your answers).

AI Recruiter (Voice Interview) Data

The AI Recruiter is an optional premium feature. When you use it, we process: the question shown, the text transcript of your spoken answer, and the AI evaluation (scores and feedback). This lets us show you your interview history and progress. Your voice recording is transcribed and then deleted - we do not keep the audio.

• Purpose and basis: storing your answers and results is necessary to provide the feature (your history and progress).
• Improving the AI (consent): only if you turn on the optional setting "Help improve the AI" (off by default), we keep a separate, anonymized copy of the question and your answer text together with the AI scores. This copy is not linked to your account, identity, device, or subscription, and is used solely to improve the model. You can turn the setting off at any time, which stops new copies from being created.
• Retention: the copy of your answers tied to your account (used for your history) is kept on our servers for up to 12 months; your own history also remains on your device.
• Deletion: deleting your account removes the AI Recruiter answers and results linked to you from our servers. The anonymized training copy (not linked to you) is not personal data and may be retained to improve the AI. You can also request deletion at privacy@itflashcards.com.

Data Collected by Third Parties

In our application, we use Google AdMob to display ads for users who do not have an active subscription. This service helps us finance further development and maintenance of the app, ensuring that it can remain available for free to a broad group of users. Google AdMob is an advertising service provided by Google, which enables the display of ads in mobile applications.

As part of this service, Google may collect various data about users, including, but not limited to, device identifiers, location information (if the user has provided appropriate consents), data about activity within the application, and information about interactions with ads.
