1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms of Service

By creating an account and using IT Flashcards, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms of Service, you are not entitled to use IT Flashcards.

3. Changes to Terms of Service

We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms of Service at any time. In case of significant changes, we will inform you through the application or to the email address you provided. Continuing to use the application after such changes signifies acceptance of the new Terms of Service.

4. License

IT Flashcards grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application on iOS or Android devices for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to the provisions of these Terms of Service.

5. Use of the Application

You agree to use IT Flashcards in compliance with applicable laws, these Terms of Service, and generally accepted internet usage principles. You may not use the application for illegal or unauthorized purposes.

5.1 Premium subscription and AI Recruiter fair use

Some features, including the AI Recruiter voice interview, require an active premium subscription. The AI Recruiter is subject to a fair-use limit of 45 minutes of recorded answers per premium account per billing period. When the limit is reached, the AI Recruiter becomes unavailable until your subscription renews for the next billing period; all other features remain available. This limit exists to keep the service sustainable given the cost of speech recognition and AI evaluation, and may be adjusted with notice as described in section 3. Your answers and results are stored to provide your history and progress; see the Privacy Policy for how this data is processed, retained, and deleted.

5.2 Quiz Battles (asynchronous)

Quiz Battles is an asynchronous game mode: it does not pair two players in real time. When you start a battle, your opponent is either a recorded run of another player or a computer-generated (CPU) opponent calibrated to your skill level, used when a suitable player run is not available. CPU opponents are labelled as such in the app. Leaderboards rank real users by the points they earn; you start at zero and only gain points - points are never deducted - and come from battles against both recorded player runs and CPU opponents.

6. Limitation of Liability

CrawlJobs LTD shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from your use of IT Flashcards. The total liability of IT Flashcards, regardless of the cause, is limited to the amount you actually paid for the application or service.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interests in IT Flashcards and the content available through the application, including but not limited to software, code, graphics, logos, images, audio and video materials, are owned by IT Flashcards or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademarks, patents, and other intellectual property rights or database rights. You do not acquire any rights to any content, including any intellectual property rights, other than those expressly granted in these Terms of Service.

8. Termination of Agreement

You may terminate your use of IT Flashcards at any time by deactivating your account or ceasing to use the application. CrawlJobs LTD may terminate your use of the application if (a) you breach any provision of these Terms of Service, (b) CrawlJobs LTD decides to discontinue providing the application, or (c) for other reasons related to CrawlJobs LTD's business operations.

9. General Provisions

Jurisdiction and Governing Law: These Terms of Service and the relationship between you and CrawlJobs LTD shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Severability: If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Waiver: The failure of CrawlJobs LTD to enforce any provision of these Terms of Service shall not be construed as a waiver of such provision or any other provision.
